BD Vacutainer® Specialty SRD Glass Tubes are intended to help facilitate dependable westergren sedimentation rate determination. The Tube contains 0.6 mL of buffered citrate that consists of 32.0 mg Sodium citrate and 4.2 mg Citric Acid. It features a unique Hemogard™ closure in black color that has a recessed inner design and a shield covered with plastic, allowing to avoid contact with blood that gets on the stopper or outer rim of the tube. For even greater use convenience, the Hemogard™ closure ensures smooth operation that eliminates blood splattering while opening the tube. The Tube has 2.4 mL draw volume and measures 13 x 75 mm.
